I have been to this restaurant several times, and have also ordered it for delivery to my home and the food is always delicious. Their chicken is so tender and nice and they have a great selection of dishes on their menu.
When ordering this food for takeaway, they often include an extra portion of a type of vegetable curry free of charge, which I think is a nice touch.
Well worth a try.
Great food with a good atmopshere for conversation over dinner. Portions are very filling and the dishes have a great infusion of spices and tastes. Would recommend for both spicy food lovers and non spicy lovers as the menu is very diverse
On our first night in Galway, we were exhausted from the flight, we just wanted some comfort food. We got it! The food was amazing, Naan was so fresh and delish! The dishes are quite large but be aware the rice does not come with the meal, it’s extra. Nice wine list and service was good. The prices were moderate but you have leftovers for lunch next day! Overall perfect, just what we’re were looking for.
We’ve been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and can honestly say it’s one of the best, if not the best Indian restaurant we’ve come across and we’ve been to many Indian restaurants including in the UK. We’re lucky as it’s local.
This is traditional Indian food, and it is marvelous. We will be in Galway for only three days, so it would only make sense to eat dinner at three separate restaurants, but my oldest daughter loved the food at this restaurant so much that she wants to go there again. I was so impressed with the food that I agree. My daughter had the Chicken Patala. She said it was like Chicken Tikka Masala, but one of the best she has tried. I had the chicken Rogan Josh, and it was superb. My youngest daughter had the Tandoori Chicken, and she said it was excellent. An all-around wonderful dining experience.
